Helping keep British Motorcycles on the road for over 30 years - established 1977

Every Haynes motorcycle manual is based on a complete teardown and rebuild, and contains hundreds of photos with step-by-step instructions, comprehensive routine maintenance and troubleshooting information, and detailed wiring diagrams.

Using a Haynes manual is like having a mechanic in every book. Mechanics and writers work together on the project motorcycle to arrive at the best possible procedures for the home mechanic and then photograph the actual work and write instructions so the reader can easily follow along. Haynes manuals include procedures for everything from routine maintenance to complete engine overhaul, and include wiring diagrams in the back of each book.

The unique nature of Haynes manuals - with each one written and photographed from the "hands-on" experience gained by a complete teardown and rebuild of the bike - continues to set Haynes manuals apart from all others.

While the factory manuals are the most detailed as far as specifications go, they are much more expensive and are more specifically aimed at a particular series of model years than the Haynes manuals (for example, unit Triumph 650/750 twins are covered by one Haynes manual, or four factory manuals.) For this reason, we most recommend the excellently priced Haynes manuals for situations where price is an issue, where the factory manual is not currently available, or where a bike is being built from a variety of years, or to non-standard specs. Regardless of what manual is chosen, it is always critical to have the factory partsbook for the bike being worked on.
