Kennie Buchanan's 1971 A65 Firebird Scrambler
Here is the BSA as she now stands. I still have a long way to go as there is still a lot of parts yet to be powder coated. What is cool and barely visible is the hidden mount for the Boyer ignition's black box. It's under the battery and you cannot see it without getting on hands and knees. The paint was done by Don Hutchinson in the OEM colour scheme; the frame was done by Andrews Powder Coating in a colour called "reflectra", looks a lot like grey nickel. From talking with Don Emde reminiscing about his time at the BSA factory, this colour looks a lot like what styling had intended originally. I originally got the bike from Baxter's Cycle and had Raber's rebuild and o-ring the oil pump.
